4 Apps to Make You Happier

Apps make it possible to do almost anything these days. You can order food to be delivered to your doorstep, book a flight, or find a babysitter, all from your couch. But what about mental health? There are many apps designed to boost your mood, too! Check out this list of some of the best apps to keep your life peaceful and happy throughout your busy days.

  1. Day 1 Journal
Journaling every day keeps your mind at peace and your thoughts organized. Day 1 app is beautifully simple, works well on a computer or laptop, and syncs all your entries in one organized place. You can save specific hashtags and look back on events or thoughts by searching through those hashtags.  You can also attach pictures, the daily weather, and other details of the day. If you want to get back into journaling, this is the app for you!
  2. #TruthBomb
TruthBomb gives you a small “truth bomb” every day that serves as inspiration for your psyche! It’s a great way to re-calibrate your mind and stay present throughout the day.
  3. Headspace
Mindfulness techniques have benefits for mood, attention and general coping skills for the ups and downs of life. This simple, beautifully designed app gives you 10 short meditations, four brief videos explaining what meditation is and a series of facts and questions. Keep track of how many of the meditations you have listened to and try 10 minutes a day for 10 days.
  4. CalmKeeper
Anxiety is a major happiness drainer, and CalmKeeper assists you with keeping a positive, peaceful mind when you feel anxiety may be coming on. Originally designed to help manage panic attacks as they happen, this app is also great for someone who needs to break the cycle of negative thoughts throughout the day.

I thinking of checking out some of the apps. Another app I really like is Lumosity. It trains your brain through simple games.
