20 Easy Post-Workout Snacks

Shake up your post-workout regime with these simple snack ideas!

1.  Whole wheat toast topped with avocado.

2. Bagel topped with 2 egg whites.

3. Cottage cheese with a slice of whole wheat bread.

4. Dried fruit and nuts. (Trader Joe’s makes delicious pre-packaged options!)

5. Sweet potatoes cubed & cooked.

6. Greek yogurt topped with granola.

7. Hummus and whole grain pita.

8. 1 cup shelled edamame.

9. Whole wheat toast with sliced banana and cinnamon.

10. Beets mixed with goat cheese and arugula.

11. High fiber cereal with almond milk.

12. Quinoa.

13. Whole wheat bagel topped with peanut butter or almond butter.

14. Chocolate milk.

15. Apples and peanut butter.

16. Tuna on wheat toast.

17. Chicken and vegetable stir-fry.

    I love a good smoothie (almond milk, frozen banana, frozen mangos and almond butter) and along the line of apple and peanut butter I LOVE almond butter on a banana with a some chia seeds sprinkled on top! Great quick ideas!
